Wills India Fashion Week noticed a blend of hooked-up and upcoming designers presenting a precise palette, fashion, and silhouette combination. They are starting with the conventional cuts and stable drapes of Wendell Rodricks and going into Anamika Khanna, who positively knows how to make a drab palette look extraordinarily appealing. E. Predominantly black and white with ambitious gotta, draped layered silhouettes, and a smattering of cocktail saris, she knows how to say it with fashion.
From her sassy fashion to Tarun Tahiliani’s elegance, there have been full-length anarkalis with cropped jackets, soft tunics, and belted saris in a primarily neutral palette. Ritu Kumar showcased her ‘Label’ collection with refreshing wrap attire and tunics in ethnic prints. An eclectic blend of texture, fabric, and style in muted and vibrant colorings, this we say is a ‘should-have for a mehndi/cocktail celebration.
